Senior Accountant

About the Position

Join Pilgrim North America Inc., a dynamic and rapidly growing organization operating across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce sectors. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our daily financial operations, acting as a key pillar for our finance department.

Main Missions

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes with high precision.
• Oversee and execute daily accounting operations using QuickBooks.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections.
• Perform monthly closing procedures and complex journal entry reconciliations.
• Identify and prevent recurring accounting discrepancies to optimize workflows.
• Mentor and provide guidance to the Junior Accountant to foster team growth.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to support financial reporting and strategic stability.

Profile Required

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar senior-level financial role.
• Strong expertise in managing full-cycle accounting and payroll.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and lead small teams.
• High level of autonomy and ability to work directly with executive leadership (CFO).
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Expertise in Payroll Management.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
• Proficiency in financial reconciliation and month-end closing.
