Security Guard Supervisor

About the role

The Security Guard Supervisor will lead a team of 5‑10 security guards across multiple sites in Calgary, ensuring safety standards, coordinating schedules, and delivering training. This full‑time permanent position requires overseeing operations in diverse environments such as hotels, parking lots, museums, and outdoor venues.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule events, programs, and activities while coordinating with other departments.
• Monitor quality and production levels to maintain high security standards.
• Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of security personnel.
• Train staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Conduct criminal record checks and ensure all certifications are up to date.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in security supervision.
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and Security Guard licenses.
• Strong client focus, excellent oral and written communication, and ability to work under pressure.
