Research Analyst – Real Estate & Investment

About the role

The Analyst will support Centurion's research function by conducting market and industry analysis, synthesising data, and producing research output for internal stakeholders, investors, and advisors. Reporting to the Chief Economist & EVP Research, the role also focuses on embedding AI tools to enhance research efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statistical and attribution analyses to generate insights on fund performance, investor behaviour and market dynamics.
• Draft research notes, monthly fund commentary and industry updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the Chief Economist's editorial voice.
• Identify, test and embed AI tools to improve research workflow, documentation and repeatability.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Investor Administration, Marketing and Compliance to source data, validate inputs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in a research or economics role, preferably within real estate, financial services or investment management.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, comfortable with statistical and attribution analysis and handling large datasets.
• Excellent written communication skills to produce clear, concise research prose.
• Experience applying AI tools to analytical work; familiarity with regulated environments and compliance processes.
