Manager, Flow Control Facilities – Electrical Maintenance & Controls

About the Position

EPCOR Water Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our Linear Asset Services team. As the Manager of Flow Control Facilities – Electrical Maintenance & Controls, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our wastewater collection infrastructure through expert oversight of electrical and automation systems.

Main Missions

• Plan and execute the annual electrical and control maintenance program for flow control facilities.
• Provide daily direct supervision to specialized electrical, instrumentation, and control teams within a unionized environment.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide accurate forecasting and variance reporting.
• Lead engineering projects, facility repairs, system upgrades, and capital investment works.
• Drive a robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture across all field operations.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, and Automation departments to implement new technologies and resolve complex technical issues.

Profile Required

• Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a recognized equivalent certification.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical/control systems within an industrial or utility setting.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and skilled trades (experience in a unionized environment is essential).
• 2+ years of proven experience in project management.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation is considered a strong asset.
