Home Support Worker – Personal Care & Assistance

About the role

This position provides compassionate, in‑home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will help clients maintain independence by assisting with daily living tasks and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely.
• Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
• Encourage regular exercise such as walking.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Prepare, serve, and cook nutritious meals.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Clear criminal record check.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and client‑focused attitude.
• Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, and honesty.
