About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Ethnic Food Cook to join our restaurant team in Winnipeg. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of East Indian dishes while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, including options for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas regularly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Required profile

- Flexible, initiative‑taking and organized.
- Reliable team player with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and handling repetitive tasks under pressure.
