Electrician – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

ROOP ELECTRIC CO LTD. is looking for a qualified electrician to join our team in Vancouver. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across residential and commercial projects. The role offers varied work locations and shift options.

Key responsibilities

• Install underground wiring and surface‑mount or overhead cables.
• Splice, join, and connect wires for low‑voltage (30‑750 V) multiphase services.
• Design and construct low‑voltage multiphase systems for single‑ or multimeter installations.
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and overall circuit integrity.
• Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults.
• Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Required profile

• No formal degree required; relevant experience is an asset.
• Willingness to work various shifts (early morning, morning, evening, day).
