About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at East India Company in Winnipeg. The position is full‑time and focuses on preparing a variety of meals while ensuring food safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and compliance.
- Train staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory records.
- Clean kitchen work areas and organize buffets or banquets.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
