Controller – Finance Leader for Multi‑Entity Operations

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Controller to lead the accounting function for a privately owned, multi‑entity organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will strengthen financial processes, reporting, and controls while collaborating closely with operations and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end accounting function, including month‑end and year‑end close.
• Develop and improve budgeting, forecasting, costing and financial reporting processes.
• Maintain accurate reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting in a complex operational environment.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and senior leaders to drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls across multiple entities.

Required profile

• CPA designation with progressive industry experience in a multi‑entity setting.
• Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller or Finance Manager.
• Strong background in month‑end, year‑end, financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Experience with costing, inventory or other operationally complex accounting environments.
• Collaborative mindset and desire for a long‑term role rather than a stepping‑stone.
