About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience preparing individual tax returns across Canadian, U.S., and international contexts. You will work with a dedicated team of tax professionals serving expatriates, frequent travelers, and cross‑border investors.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare Canadian and U.S. individual income tax returns for expatriates, U.S. citizens residing in Canada, Canadian residents with U.S. property, and frequent business travelers.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather missing information and answer tax‑related questions.
  • Represent clients before Canadian and U.S. tax authorities.
  • Conduct tax research to support the preparation of returns.

Required profile

  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Initiative and critical‑thinking mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in both French and English.
  • Team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with Axcess tax software (asset).
  • Familiarity with Taxprep software (asset).
