Tactical Instructor – Pilot

About the role

The Advanced Tactical Instructor Pilot will train military pilots in advanced tactical flying, combat maneuvers and mission execution. Reporting to the Vice President, Tactical, the role combines classroom, simulator and in‑flight instruction to ensure pilots can safely conduct complex aerial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, simulator and in‑flight training on advanced tactical flying techniques and combat maneuvers.
• Develop and maintain training curricula, lesson plans and assessment materials that meet military standards.
• Plan, coordinate and execute training missions, including threat analysis, route selection and weapons employment.
• Conduct after‑action reviews, debriefings and maintain accurate training records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 500 flight hours in a high‑performance jet and operational experience on a front‑line fighter aircraft.
• Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence, military pilot certification and instructor qualification.
• Ability to hold a CAT‑1 TC medical and meet physical demands of high‑performance flight.
