Summer Co‑op Accounting Position

About the role

Summer co‑op students will provide routine, detailed accounting services under direct supervision on engagements such as audits, reviews and compilations. They will support engagement teams by importing trial balances, setting up file sections, testing account balances, and documenting internal controls, with occasional bookkeeping assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine accounting services for audit, review and compilation engagements.
• Import trial balances, set up file sections and test account balances and transactions.
• Analyze and document internal controls and organizational structures.
• Assist with bookkeeping assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and tax software is an asset.
