Staff Engineer

About the role

VantageAnalytics is looking for a Staff Engineer to shape technical strategy across multiple teams and ensure successful delivery. You will drive the roadmap, clear cross‑team dependencies, and build the frameworks that keep teams aligned while staying hands‑on with code.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of several large‑scale initiatives in parallel.
• Define and enforce SLAs, observability standards, and architectural consistency across the stack.
• Own technical‑debt programs: quantify, prioritize, make business cases, and integrate them into product roadmaps.
• Mentor senior engineers through architectural reviews, design discussions, and pair programming.
• Design, operate, and evolve B2B API integrations, handling authentication, rate limiting, retries, idempotency, versioning, and contract changes.

Required profile

• 9+ years of professional software development experience with a proven record of delivering complex systems.
• Deep understanding of a full production stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure, data) and ability to translate cross‑layer impacts.
• Experience managing multi‑quarter technical roadmaps that span multiple teams and securing leadership buy‑in.
• Track record of mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction.
