Sprinkler Fitter

About the role

We are looking for experienced Sprinkler Fitters to join our growing Service Team full‑time. As a Sprinkler Fitter you will inspect, service, and repair various fire protection sprinkler systems and assist Fire Alarm Technicians with a variety of services.

Key responsibilities

• Complete testing, maintenance, and repairs on fire sprinkler systems in accordance with the 2018 BC Fire Code and NFPA 25.
• Prepare accurate Electronic Inspection Reports and other required documentation.
• Assist technicians with testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire and life‑safety equipment.
• Stay current on industry standards, product changes, and best practices.
• Work 40 hours per week, including overtime and on‑call rotation as needed.

Required profile

• Journeyman Sprinkler Fitting ticket (or equivalent).
• Desire to obtain ASTTBC and/or CFAA certification.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent English communication skills.
• Valid BC driver’s licence and ability to provide a driver’s abstract.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Sprinkler system installation and servicing.
• Knowledge of the 2018 BC Fire Code.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25 standards.
• Experience with electronic inspection reporting.
