Shop Manager – Sporting Goods Store

About the role

We are looking for a Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of our sporting goods store in Calgary. The role involves overseeing staff, managing merchandise, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control, evaluate and plan daily store operations.
• Manage staff, assign duties and ensure efficient workflow.
• Determine the range of merchandise and services to be offered.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor performance against targets and implement improvements.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in retail or store management.
• Demonstrates efficiency, hard‑working attitude, client focus, organization, teamwork and patience.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
