Senior / Mid Frontend Engineer (React)

About the role

Sensor Tower is looking for a Senior/Mid Frontend Engineer to help architect high‑visibility, rapid‑release products and mentor talented engineers while delivering an intuitive user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deliver complex, scalable frontend systems that are simple and effective.
• Partner with Product Managers to co‑author requirements and shape scope, ensuring engineering feasibility.
• Lead technical decision‑making for medium‑to‑large scoped features and own successful delivery of customer value.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and quality‑first habits.
• Take ownership of the frontend stack by identifying bottlenecks, technical debt, or systemic issues and driving fixes.
• Advocate and drive best practices in React, TypeScript, and web performance optimization.
• Collaborate deeply with Data Science and Backend Engineers to ensure seamless data flow and end‑to‑end reliability.

Required profile

• Software engineering experience with deep specialization in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Proven ability to architect complex state management (TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux, MobX).
• Experience elevating peers’ skills through mentorship and code reviews.
• Competence in writing robust unit and integration tests (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Deep understanding of web performance, browser internals, and optimization for data‑heavy applications.
• Product‑owner mindset, able to push back on requirements and propose better solutions.
