Rotary-Wing Flight Test Instructor (FTI)

About the role

ITPS Canada Ltd. is seeking an experienced Rotary‑Wing Flight Test Instructor to manage and deliver flight test training programs. The role involves coordinating courses, ensuring compliance, and supporting students in mastering advanced flight‑test techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and oversee execution of courses and flying programs.
• Brief and prepare students for flight exercises, including risk assessments.
• Authorize flights within assigned responsibilities and provide flight exercise demonstrations.
• Debrief course flights, generate Sortie Report Assessments, and track student progress.
• Review student reports for syllabus compliance and provide feedback.
• Address student progress concerns with training leadership and undertake special projects, including international travel.

Required profile

• Graduation from a test pilot school or military equivalent; Society of Experimental Test Pilots recognized school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification test pilot experience with at least 200 hours of test flying.
• Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Required skills

• EASA pilot license or ATPL or CPL/IR with FT Rating Category 1 and FTI Rating.
• Test pilot qualifications enabling instruction in flight‑test techniques.
