Residential Cleaner – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Residential Cleaner to maintain the common areas of our Oakland Avenue properties in East London, Ontario. The role involves keeping the buildings tidy and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop and wash floors in common areas.
• Clean doors, windows, elevator doors and tracks.
• Maintain chute rooms, garbage and recycling areas.
• Wipe door knobs, lights, baseboards, exercise equipment and fire‑extinguisher cabinets.
• Assist with snow removal and salt application as needed.
• Keep supply rooms and mail areas organized.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of cleaning experience, preferably in residential buildings.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Courteous, punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Clear criminal background check.

Required skills

• Experience with floor care equipment (vacuum, mop, floor scrubbers).
• Knowledge of proper waste handling and recycling procedures.
