Remote IT Support (Part‑Time / Full‑Time)

About the role

TauRx Therapeutics is looking for a diligent IT Support professional to provide remote technical assistance to its staff. The role can be taken on either part‑time or full‑time and is fully remote, supporting a Toronto‑based team focused on neurodegenerative disease research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve tickets via remote tools, email and phone.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, operating systems, applications and peripherals.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the integrity of the IT infrastructure.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Motivated and detail‑oriented IT support professional.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with staff across locations.
