Remote IT Support – Full-time & Part-time

About the role

TauRx Therapeutics is seeking a diligent Remote IT Support professional to provide high‑quality technical assistance to its staff. Working from anywhere in Canada, you will help maintain the integrity of the company’s IT infrastructure while supporting a mission‑driven team focused on neurodegenerative disease research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, and network issues via remote tools, email, and phone.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document technical queries in a timely manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across multiple platforms.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring equipment and access are ready.
• Escalate complex problems to senior team members while maintaining ownership of tickets.
• Contribute to IT documentation and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a remote IT support, helpdesk, or service‑desk role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests efficiently.
