Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

RhynoCare is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality, compassionate care in long‑term care facilities in Belleville, Ontario. You will be engaged as an independent contractor, working flexible shifts while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, competent nursing and personal care in line with CNO standards, physician orders and resident care plans.
• Support residents’ physical, psychological, emotional, cultural and social needs using evidence‑informed decision making.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, ensuring clear communication with residents, families and the health‑care team.
• Maintain secure administration and documentation of all medications, including narcotics, complying with legislative requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to RPNs, PSWs and other staff, and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality improvement and continuous learning by reporting risks and incidents.

Required profile

• Current active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts and adapt to different units as needed.
• Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts in line with RhynoCare’s attendance policy.
