About the role
We are seeking a dedicated child caregiver to join a private family in Calgary. The role involves providing comprehensive care and household support in the parents' absence, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
Key responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are away.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties.
- Shop for food and household supplies.
- Travel with the family, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping on trips.
- Discipline children according to parents' methods and promote personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain records of daily activities and health information.
- Organize games, outings, and educational activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Support children’s emotional well‑being and assist with homework.
Required profile
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Flexible hours and willingness to travel with the family as needed.
