About the role
A Vancouver‑based corporate practice is looking for a partner‑level lawyer with deep M&A experience to join its leadership team. The role involves expanding the firm’s corporate transactional capabilities while shaping its strategic direction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex M&A and corporate transactions from origination through closing.
- Develop and manage significant client relationships.
- Mentor and supervise associates on corporate matters.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the corporate practice group.
- Represent the firm within the broader business community.
Required profile
- Called to the Bar in British Columbia and in good standing.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate/M&A law.
- Proven track record of client origination and portable business.
- Strong negotiation and deal‑management abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growth‑focused practice.
