Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Port Coquitlam. In this role you will oversee daily work orders, manage technician schedules, and ensure smooth service delivery for our fire prevention clients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily scheduled jobs, technician arrival times and GPS statuses to ensure success.
• Assign service calls based on priority and fill coverage gaps when technicians call in sick.
• Communicate technician absences to payroll and update HRMIS time‑off records.
• Review critical jobs, service call completions, and technician time logs for accuracy.
• Conduct customer satisfaction calls and adhere to core values and safety protocols.

• Excellent telephone etiquette, flexible and organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exceptional English verbal, written and listening skills.
• Team player who takes initiative and owns responsibilities.
• Eager to learn and succeed in a collaborative, inclusive team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong computer literacy for various administrative tasks.
