Machine Operator – Metal Machining

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to perform metal machining operations at our Montreal facility. The role involves setting up and running CNC equipment, ensuring parts meet precise dimensions, and maintaining a clean work environment. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines to carry out repetitive metal machining tasks.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Prepare etching solutions and immerse workpieces to remove unwanted material.
• Enter speed, feed, and cut codes for CNC toolpaths.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep the workspace tidy.

Required profile

• No prior experience required – training will be provided.
• No formal education required (no degree, certificate or diploma needed).
• Availability for day‑shift work.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation.
• Precision measurement with micrometers and calipers.
• Machine setup and toolpath code entry.
