Litigation Support Analyst – eDiscovery Specialist

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst to join its eDiscovery team in Toronto. The role focuses on the end‑to‑end processing, analysis, and production of electronic evidence for legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Intake, tracking, staging, analysis and reporting of electronic evidence.
• Process data according to client specifications and TLS standards, including ingestion, deduplication, culling, indexing, keyword searching, date‑range filtering and encryption.
• Convert native files to industry‑standard image formats (TIF/JPG/PDF) and perform quality‑control checks.
• Create and quality‑control client deliverables for platforms such as Concordance, Summation and Relativity (OPT, LFP, DII, eDII, XML, DAT, DCB).
• Perform batch TIFFing, OCR, endorsing, Bates numbering, password cracking and language detection.
• Extract, analyze, manipulate and format metadata for import into legal review platforms.
• Search and report on SQL databases and use Digital Reef and LAW PreDiscovery for basic ingestion and export.
• Communicate with Project Managers and Coordinators to meet timelines and maintain high‑quality output.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, mathematics, computer science or a related field.
• Recent graduates in Computer Science or Digital Forensics are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and quality‑control procedures.

Required skills

• eDiscovery workflow tools: Relativity, Concordance, Summation.
• Data processing tools: Digital Reef, LAW PreDiscovery.
• SQL database querying.
• OCR, password cracking, language detection, metadata extraction.
• File conversion to TIF/JPG/PDF and batch TIFFing.
