Journeyperson Electrician Team Lead

About the role

Wildstone Construction is recruiting an Electrical Team Lead with commercial construction experience. The electrical team supports water/wastewater, energy, and commercial/institutional projects and works closely with the in‑house Mech/HVAC division to deliver control wiring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews on project sites.
• Ensure all work meets specifications and complies with codes and regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce regulatory safety measures.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Perform underground and slab conduit installation and grounding.
• Install building wiring (EMT, Rigid, PVC, Teck) and power distribution equipment such as switchgear, generators, transformers, MCCs, PLC panels, VFDs, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Wire motor control, process instruments, and HVAC control systems.

Required profile

• FSR Certified Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician with ICI site experience.
• Ability to follow the Canadian Electric Code and BC Hydro, Fortis, ATCO standards.
• High‑voltage experience is an asset.
• Proficient with Procore and MS Office 365.
• Willing to obtain safety certifications (Leadership for Safety Excellence, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, etc.).
• Physically capable of meeting job demands and hold a valid driver’s licence (trailer‑towing experience a plus).

• Reading cable schedules, control wiring diagrams, and PLC I/O drawings
• Installation of pad‑mounted switchgear, oil‑filled transformers, and containerized equipment
• Procore project management software
• MS Office 365 suite
