Implementation Associate

About the role

Forma.ai is a Series B startup revolutionizing how sales compensation is designed, managed and optimized. The Implementation Associate will own day‑to‑day customer relationships, translate data inputs into commission‑engine logic, and support continuous product improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day customer relationship, building strong working relationships with senior client stakeholders across a portfolio of customers.
• Act as an architect for new customers, translating data inputs and business logic into Forma rule/system logic and commission‑engine outputs.
• Learn the platform design to independently complete updates, enhancements, and change requests.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to convey customer feedback, prioritize new features, and implement platform enhancements.
• Manage customer expectations regarding deliverables and project timelines.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client’s strategic positioning, products, business model, and objectives.
• Develop Sales Performance Management expertise by identifying improvement areas in SPM processes and strategy.

Required profile

• Education or background in Engineering, Commerce, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with large datasets and understanding logical structures of databases and workflows.
• Strong Excel skills for data profiling, segmentation, and aggregation.
• Understanding of data architecture and process flows.
• Analytical problem‑solving, organizational, and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Familiarity with common analytical and presentation tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
