Immigration Legal Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Assistant specialized in immigration to support our consultancy in Winnipeg. The role involves handling correspondence, managing appointments, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of information and manage incoming mail, both regular and electronic.
• Schedule and confirm appointments while maintaining an organized filing system.
• Prepare, key in, and proofread correspondence and legal documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and correct grammar.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in Hindi and Punjabi.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Office, MS Excel, and MS Windows.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
