Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator supports a positive employee experience by delivering responsive HR services across Classic Fire + Life Safety. Working closely with the HR team, the coordinator assists with onboarding, benefits administration, and employee‑focused support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the shared HR inbox, respond to employee inquiries and route escalations to the appropriate HR Business Partner.
• Coordinate new‑hire onboarding, ensure equipment, system access and training are ready, and track completion in BambooHR.
• Support benefits and pension enrollment, answer related questions, and maintain accurate data in Blue Cross.
• Participate in learning‑and‑development programs, employee engagement activities, and the Social Committee.
• Recommend policy enhancements and help streamline HR processes.

Required profile

• Human Resources Management diploma or equivalent; working toward CHRP preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in an HR department handling operations and supporting initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS systems, specifically BambooHR.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software applications.
• Knowledge of employment legislation such as ESA, Labour Relations Act and OHS Act.
