Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Ranchland Inn Ltd is seeking a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at our Kamloops location. You will ensure that all guest areas and back‑of‑house facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety while supporting a smooth operation. The role also involves managing inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, arranging additional training as needed.
• Supervise daily cleaning activities and coordinate work with other hotel departments.
• Inspect rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces to verify compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates and monitor expenses related to housekeeping operations.
• Assist cleaners with tasks when required and maintain effective communication across teams.
• Establish work schedules for housekeeping staff.
• Coordinate work activities with other departments.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience supervising or coordinating housekeeping staff.
