Housekeeper – Part‑Time

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a part‑time Housekeeper to join its team at the Montreal location. The role involves maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the brand’s high standards, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests and transport supply carts to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms following established procedures, verify vacancy, and replace amenities, linens, and towels.
• Make beds, fold towels, clean bathrooms, remove trash, and handle room‑service items.
• Inspect rooms for functional appliances, straighten furniture, dust, polish surfaces, and vacuum carpets and hallways.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and accidents; follow safety and security policies.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lb unassisted and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, bend, twist, and reach overhead for an entire shift.
• Clear and professional communication with guests and team members.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and safety protocols.
