Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Staff Level)

About the role

We are seeking a Staff‑level Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design, build, and deliver AI‑powered applications that generate measurable business impact. This hands‑on role blends rapid prototyping with production‑grade system delivery, working closely with business stakeholders across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship AI applications, including backend services, APIs, AI orchestration layers and enterprise integrations.
• Design practical, scalable AI systems that balance speed of delivery, reliability, cost and operational efficiency.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into products, internal tools and business processes, implementing agent workflows and orchestration logic.
• Partner directly with stakeholders to translate problems into working software quickly and iterate based on feedback.
• Contribute to shared libraries, templates and services, establishing reusable patterns and engineering standards.
• Implement AI solutions within a governed environment, ensuring prompt safety, misuse prevention, observability and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build and ship production‑scale systems, especially backend services and API‑first architectures.
• Strong experience with cloud‑native development on Azure and integration‑heavy distributed applications.
• Demonstrated skill in designing clean, practical architectures that balance delivery speed, scalability and cost.
• Hands‑on experience building LLM‑powered applications, including prompt design, agent orchestration and performance tuning.
• Bias toward shipping, owning end‑to‑end solutions and iterating rapidly based on production usage.
