Flight-Operations Systems Engineer (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Flight-Operations Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and operation of advanced satellite systems for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) missions. The role involves working on flight software, automation tools, and ground‑segment integration to ensure mission success. Immediate start is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, integration, and operation of satellite flight systems.
• Develop and enhance automated satellite operations and operational workflows.
• Contribute to space and ground‑segment design, specification, and system integration.
• Assist with flight software integration and its role in satellite operations.
• Work with satellite databases, telemetry structures, and operational data systems.
• Create automation tools and scripts using Python or other scripting languages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and operational readiness activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience supporting LEO and/or MEO satellite operations (SatOps).
• Experience with automated satellite operations and IoT technologies.

Required skills

• Python and other scripting languages.
• Satellite flight systems and flight software integration.
• Satellite database operations and telemetry structures.
• Automation tools development for satellite operations.
• Systems engineering best practices for space missions.
