First Aid / Security Attendant

About the role

Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario is looking for a First Aid Security Attendant to fill an existing vacancy. This is a full-time, permanent unionized position paid $44.74 per hour plus applicable bonuses. The work location is not accessible by public transportation, and applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Administer first aid treatment to injured and/or ill employees and contractors
• Prepare to transport injured and/or ill employees to medical facilities
• Ensure the security and protection of company property at all times

Required profile

• Personal commitment to health, safety, training and continuous improvement
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a first aid and/or security environment
• Ontario Class F driver's licence
• Restricted radio operator's licence
• Private security licence (renewed biennially)

Required skills

• Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (A-EMCA) certificate
• Paramedic certificate
