Experienced Tutor

About the role

Maison d'Étude Academy is looking for an experienced tutor to provide in‑person academic support to high‑school students in Montreal. The role focuses on reinforcing core concepts and fostering independent study habits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one, in‑person tutoring sessions.
• Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources.
• Maintain ongoing communication with students’ families regarding progress and goals.
• Accurately log sessions and notes using the internal scheduling system.
• Support students in developing independent study habits and long‑term academic skills.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field (Education preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
• Professionalism, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide in‑person support in the Montreal area.
• Police background check required.
