Engineering Manager

About the role

As an Engineering Manager at Vantage, you will lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate high‑quality software that powers retail media platforms. You’ll balance people leadership with technical strategy, working closely with product, design and other stakeholders to deliver valuable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, mentor and grow a mixed‑level engineering team, providing clear goals and regular feedback.
• Own delivery planning, risk management and stakeholder communication to ensure reliable releases.
• Define and govern the SDLC and CI/CD processes, shortening feedback loops and reducing engineering toil.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to build products that delight customers.
• Set and evolve team‑level technical direction in line with broader architecture.
• Foster a feedback culture focused on ownership, quality and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers and other stakeholders.
• Track record of hiring, mentoring and performance‑managing engineers across levels.
