About the role
The Drafting Technician will support engineering projects in the oil and gas sector by preparing accurate designs and drawings using CAD software. This role requires close collaboration with engineers to ensure design quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare engineering designs and detailed drawing sets.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements.
- Develop design sketches and write technical reports and specifications.
- Examine drawings for conformity, errors, and completeness.
- Operate CADD and other computer‑aided design software.
Required profile
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Team player with strong attention to detail.
