Discovery Operations Lead – Litigation & Regulatory

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Discovery Operations Lead to build and run its discovery operations for litigation and regulatory matters. The role will design and manage the end‑to‑end EDRM lifecycle, work with counsel, vendors and cross‑functional teams, and help shape the company’s information governance program.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate discovery operations across the full EDRM lifecycle, including preservation, collection, processing, hosting, review and production of electronic data, especially AI‑specific data types.
• Own the legal hold program: custodian identification, hold issuance, tracking, re‑notification, acknowledgments and defensible release.
• Stand up and administer the discovery technology stack, including RelativityOne and in‑place preservation/collection tools for Slack, Google Workspace and internal systems, and configure analytics and review platforms.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures and playbooks to make discovery work defensible, repeatable and scalable.
• Manage the discovery vendor program: selection, onboarding, statements of work, pricing, SLAs, performance reviews and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Technical operator with strategic thinking ability to build a first‑in‑class discovery and information governance function.
• Experience collaborating with litigation and regulatory counsel, outside counsel, vendors and cross‑functional partners such as Security and IT.
