DevOps Engineer – Mississauga (Ontario)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for reliable application delivery in Mississauga, Ontario.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CodePipeline.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate build, release, and operational workflows.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and cost, and drive optimization.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and access controls (IAM, KMS).
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for seamless releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 3 years progressive experience per missing year).
• At least 7 years of IT experience, including 5 years in DevOps/Cloud engineering.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and automating on AWS.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
• Willingness to relocate to or commute within Mississauga.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda).
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline.
• IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Scripting: Python, Bash.
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and Linux.
