Développeur.se sénior – Plateforme de données ML

About the role

We are looking for a visionary senior developer to own the machine‑learning data platform that powers our next‑generation models. The role bridges cutting‑edge AI research and high‑performance engineering, treating the data platform as an internal product for researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and automate data processing pipelines to handle petabytes of data reliably.
• Design execution layers that match each pipeline stage to the appropriate compute engine and keep pipelines at full capacity.
• Ensure efficient use of compute resources, including GPU allocation for compute‑intensive tasks.
• Provide robust fault‑tolerance, restart capabilities and observability to pinpoint bottlenecks and cost drivers.
• Version, reproduce and fully trace all datasets and intermediate outputs, supplying datasheets in line with internal data‑governance policies.
• Work closely with research teams to integrate produced datasets seamlessly into training pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, implementing and operating large‑scale distributed data processing systems or working with machine‑learning data processing frameworks.
• Proven ability to evolve technical environments and make sustainable decisions in collaboration with research and product teams.

Required skills

• Distributed data processing
• GPU computing
• Data versioning and reproducibility
• Pipeline automation and orchestration
• Observability and monitoring
