About the role
A well‑established Vancouver corporate practice is expanding its team and seeks a Corporate & Securities Associate. The role involves working on a mix of public and private company transactions, supporting senior lawyers and contributing to business development.
Key responsibilities
- Support corporate and securities transactions, including financings, M&A, and reorganizations.
- Draft and review corporate documents, disclosure records, and continuous disclosure filings.
- Conduct due diligence for transactions.
- Liaise with securities regulators and stock exchanges as needed.
- Collaborate closely with senior lawyers on client matters and business development initiatives.
Required profile
- Called to the Bar in British Columbia and in good standing.
- 2‑5 years of experience in corporate or securities law.
- Strong drafting and transactional abilities.
- Familiarity with Canadian securities regulatory requirements.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
