About the role

Holt Renfrew is seeking a motivated Cook to join its culinary team. Working under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will prepare and cook meals in a fast‑paced, fashion‑driven environment while upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all meals according to the Executive Chef’s instructions.
• Follow food handling, health and safety regulations at all times.
• Control food waste and maintain accurate records of quantities used.
• Keep prep and storage areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Assist with ordering food and supplies and ensure proper rotation of perishable stock.
• Deliver quick, safe service to meet client expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Culinary school certificate or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of cooking experience, preferably in a team‑oriented setting.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work swiftly and safely in a busy kitchen.
• Record‑keeping and inventory management skills.
