About the role

The warehouse clerk is responsible for processing customer orders and dispatching them to the delivery platform while adhering to company standards for sanitation, safety and productivity. The role ensures that all orders are complete, accurate and properly prepared for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders efficiently, verifying quantity and product type before loading and shipping.
• Assemble various types of loads for shipment as needed.
• Transport orders to shipping areas or delivery platforms using handling equipment.
• Repackage and weigh orders requiring special handling.
• Report any quality discrepancies and assist with physical inventories when required.
• Keep the facility clean, organized and orderly.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as electric and manual pallet trucks according to safety procedures.
• Ensure product sanitation by storing items at appropriate temperatures and reporting any deviations.
• Clean and sweep dock and warehouse floors to quality standards.
• Maintain clear aisles and apply ice shavings where required.
