About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Edmonton. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll processing and managing fixed‑asset accounting. The position is permanent, full‑time and offers an hourly rate of $36 CAD.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries.
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
- Prepare trial balance of books.
- Reconcile accounts.
Required profile
- College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma (1‑2 years) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in bookkeeping is an asset.
