Associate Principal, Business Development – Financial Services

About the role

As an Associate Principal in Business Development at TELUS Digital, you will lead and expand strategic relationships within the Financial Services sector, with a strong focus on banking. The role blends account leadership, new‑business prospecting, and collaboration with product and solution teams to deliver innovative digital experiences for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target high‑value financial services accounts to showcase TELUS Digital’s capabilities.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring delivery exceeds expectations.
• Coordinate lead generation, pursue new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth through new logos and account expansion.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Product teams to craft tailored technology solutions and articulate product features to executives.
• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and pitch services across the prospecting, pursuit, and expansion phases.
• Track and report on key performance indicators such as revenue growth, client satisfaction, and team health.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading strategic accounts and driving business development in the Financial Services or banking industry.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding existing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive‑level interactions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid or remote setting while traveling to client sites as needed.
