Vice President of Security

About the role

Serve Robotics is seeking a Vice President of Security to shape and execute the security strategy for its autonomous delivery platform. The leader will protect corporate assets, the robot fleet, and the data ecosystem while enabling rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the security roadmap across corporate, platform, product, and robot domains.
• Drive initiatives such as endpoint security, enterprise SSO, security controls, policy enforcement, incident response planning, robot identity management, and compliance (SOX ITGC, SOC 2).
• Partner with IT, Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to embed secure development practices in hardware, software, cloud, and enterprise systems.
• Advance GRC maturity, develop security policies, monitoring SOPs, and data‑privacy training.
• Build and mature incident‑response capabilities and establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting for security posture.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing security organization that balances technical excellence with business partnership.

• Strong ability to translate complex security risks into clear business decisions for executives.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
