About the role
We are looking for a reliable truck driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and coordinate logistics.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform brake adjustments and conduct regular safety checks.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
- Secure cargo with tarping and ensure safety and security throughout the journey.
Required profile
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience driving trucks.
- Valid Class 1 or Class A driver’s licence.
- Ability to work on‑site with no remote option.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and accurate record‑keeping.
