Truck Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable truck driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and coordinate logistics.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments and conduct regular safety checks.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Secure cargo with tarping and ensure safety and security throughout the journey.

Required profile

• 1 to less than 2 years of experience driving trucks.
• Valid Class 1 or Class A driver’s licence.
• Ability to work on‑site with no remote option.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and accurate record‑keeping.
