Teaching Assistant for Principles of Taxation (ACCT 385)

About the role

The Desautels Faculty of Management is seeking a graduate student to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the Principles of Taxation course (ACCT 385). This part‑time role supports the delivery of course materials and student learning throughout the term.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare course work such as assignments, solution sets, worksheets, and formula sheets.
• Hold regular office hours and conduct tutorials to assist students.
• Supervise grading activities and ensure timely feedback.
• Collaborate with the course instructor to maintain course standards.

Required profile

• Current McGill graduate student with a relevant academic background in accounting or taxation.
• Ability to manage approximately 50 hours of work over the term.
