Social Media Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join PENN, a brand within Reitmans Canada Limited. In this 12‑month full‑time contract you will create and publish bilingual content, engage the community, and help grow the brand’s online presence across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engaging videos, photos, stories, user‑generated content and behind‑the‑scenes material; write bilingual captions that reflect the brand voice.
• Plan, schedule and publish content on all social platforms, aligning with social trends and fashion culture.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments, capturing authentic content during photoshoots, events and in‑store visits, and amplifying high‑quality user‑generated content.
• Develop organic growth initiatives, optimise content for discoverability (social SEO, trends, formats) and identify amplification opportunities with creators, micro‑influencers and paid boosts.
• Track key performance indicators such as reach, impressions, engagement rate, click‑through‑rate, community growth and video performance; produce actionable performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in social media, community management or content creation.
• Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.
• Highly organised, able to multitask and continuously curious about emerging trends.
• Bilingual in French and English to create content for audiences across Canada.
